“Spinelli”  Like Drip, she is a McCoy bred, smooth coated, Patterdale.  She and Drip have the same sire, McCoy’s Grip.  Spinelli’s dam is a product of a brother-sister mating of some old Nutall bred dogs.  Spinelli is a game hunter.  Her heart makes up for her smaller stature.  Spinelli is a 14-pound dog and is 12 inches at the shoulder.  Spinelli has been bred to Drip most of her life.  This mating produced some very rough dogs with a lot of talent.  Being as both Drip and Spinelli are by McCoy’s Grip, a half Staffordshire terrier, occasionally their offspring would be “brindle”.  

My very first Patterdale was a brindle colored pup by Drip out of Spinelli.  I called her Red Patty.  She is pictured below
